Justin Holyfield He/Him
Hi, I’m Justin—an art therapist, gamer, and lifelong geek. I like to help people who’ve had to navigate some tough moments in their life such as: religious trauma, identity formation, anxiety and depression, and just those just trying to figure out who they are in a world that doesn’t always make it easy for them.
I enjoy in working with LGBTQIA+ folks, neurodivergent folks, and anyone who's ever felt like the “NPC” in someone else’s main quest. Whether you're recovering from toxic belief systems, processing your past, or just want someone who gets that “masking” isn’t just for stealth missions in video games, I’ve got you!
My therapy toolkit includes Narrative Therapy, Art Therapy and a dash of Internal Family Systems modalities. If art just isn’t for you, that’s ok! You don’t need to be “good” at art to do art therapy.
I believe healing isn’t a solo endeavor. It’s collaborative. We’ll work together to rewrite your inner narrative, reconnect with your authentic self, and maybe have a few laughs along the way—because humor is a valid coping mechanism, and sometimes your inner critic just needs to be roasted like a mid-tier cartoon villain.
Outside the therapy room, I’m probably playing video games, doing my best to take care of my multiple house plants, working with a non profit that puts mental health in gaming spaces, being incredible nerdy over the newest Star Wars media, and getting emotional about the metaphors and parallels we can find in it all.
If you’re ready to start your next chapter—with support, empathy, and a dash of nerdy humor—I’m here for it.
Let’s tell your story.
